Santi Heated Vest and Glove Duo: Ideal Starter Package for Cold-Water Divers
If you already have a compatible battery pack for drysuit heating systems, the Santi Heated Vest and Glove Duo is an excellent starter set to keep your torso and hands warm during dives.
This package is perfect for divers who need more insulation than passive, non-heated undersuits can provide. It offers a significant step up in thermal protection, just a notch below a full heated undersuit—ideal for exceptionally cold, deep, or long dives.
If you don’t have a battery pack yet, consider the Heated Vest Combo or the Deluxe Heated Vest Set, both of which include a Santi battery.
What’s Included in the Santi Heated Vest and Glove Duo:
- Santi Heated Vest Flex 2.0
- Santi Heated Gloves 2.0 with Cables
- Santi Drysuit Connector or Thermovalve 303 (⏎ Read the difference)
Santi Heated Vest Flex 2.0: Superior Functionality and Comfort
The Santi Heated Vest Flex 2.0 is designed to offer maximum functionality and safety. It provides thermal comfort even when not connected to a battery, thanks to its high-performance fabric.
Crafted from highly flexible Climashield insulation fabric weighing 180g/m², the vest comprises three layers: breathable Climashield Contour insulation sandwiched between two protective polyester layers. The outer layer also features windproof properties, ensuring warmth retention in various conditions.
The latest version of the Heated Vest uses non-quilted fabric for better heat retention, keeping warmth closer to the body for extended periods. Wide elastic bands on the sides and a crotch strap ensure a secure and adjustable fit.
Key Features of the Santi Heated Vest Flex 2.0:
- Handy pocket for power cord
- P-valve hose opening
- Wires covered with ultra-soft silicone insulation resistant to breakage
- High-resilience power cable resistant to cuts and high temperatures
- Ergonomic design with nested wires for comfort
- Weight: 180g/m²
- Insulation: 0.96 CLO
- Maximum Heating Temperature: 45ºC
- Heating Power: 55W
- Safety switch to prevent overheating or excessive current
The vest can be worn directly over a Thinsulate layer or sandwiched between a Thinsulate and base layer for optimal heat distribution.
Santi Heated Gloves 2.0: Keep Your Hands Warm and Functional
The Santi Heated Gloves 2.0 are soft, flexible, and designed not to impede movement. The thin heating wires are arranged to be virtually imperceptible, so you’ll hardly notice the difference between these and regular gloves—except for the warmth they provide.
Cold hands can cause discomfort and limit your ability to handle equipment such as inflators, valves, or cameras. The Santi Heated Gloves ensure your hands remain capable and comfortable, even in chilly conditions.
Key Features of the Santi Heated Gloves 2.0:
- Breathable fabric
- Maximum Heating Temperature: 45°C
- Heating Power: 36W (per pair)
- Maximum Operating Voltage: 12V
- Evenly distributed heating wires for unrestricted movement
- Retain warmth even when the heating function is off
Thermovalve or Drysuit Connector: Choosing the Right Connection
Both the Santi Thermovalve 303 and the Drysuit Connector serve to connect your Santi heated vest, gloves, or undersuit to an external power source. These connectors come in Apeks or SiTech fittings to suit different drysuit configurations.
Santi Drysuit Connector
The Drysuit Connector attaches to your existing drysuit inflation valve, maintaining inflation functionality while providing power to your heated gear. It adds 19mm of height to the inflation valve.
Santi Thermovalve 303
The Thermovalve 303 has a unique advantage in its cable positioning. The E/O connector cable is directed downward, and the head can rotate 270 degrees for easy connection of the hopper cable on either the right or left side, ensuring hassle-free use underwater.
