Developed by Halcyon to save divers time and effort, the Cinch system makes sizing, fine-tuning, and resizing diving harnesses a quick and hassle-free process.
Whether you’re changing suits or divers, the Cinch allows for swift adjustments without compromising the integrity of the harness or Halcyon’s signature continuous webbing.
Adjustments to the Halcyon Cinch Adjustable Harness are made by easily sliding the harness through a unique assembly. You can adjust the fit of your harness both in and out of the water with a simple push or pull.

Halcyon backplates are meticulously designed and constructed to offer top-tier quality, combining the finest materials with refined details. Designed for use with both Halcyon and conventional wings, the backplate comes in 3mm stainless steel or aluminum options. It includes utility holes for easy attachment of the MC Storage Pak or a drysuit inflation system.

Which Backplate to Choose?
While not a strict rule, aluminum backplates are favored by traveling divers and those who use wetsuits due to their lighter weight compared to stainless steel. On the other hand, stainless steel backplates are more commonly used by drysuit divers, as the added weight helps offset buoyancy and reduces the amount of weight worn around the waist.
Both backplates feature Halcyon’s signature design and are compatible with the Halcyon Cinch Adjustable Harness. Many UK divers using drysuits prefer the steel backplate for its added weight and stability.
