This full twinset wing system comes with a single loop harness and backplate of your choice, fully factory set up. You just need to do a little fine-tuning on the harness.

Halcyon Cinch Harness
The Halcyon Cinch Adjustable Harness redefines what it means to dive a backplate, building upon a platform of simplicity while providing unprecedented security and ease of adjustment.
Halcyon developed the Cinch to save divers time and effort while sizing, fine-tuning and resizing diving harnesses.
Now you can change suits or divers and adjust the harness in a flash without compromising the harness integrity or Halcyon’s trademark, continuous webbing.
Adjustments to the Halcyon Cinch Adjustable Harness occur by simply sliding the harness through a unique assembly. You can even easily adjust the fit of their plate in or out of the water with a simple push or pull.
If you need a quick way to get out of your dive system or if you regularly change the thickness of your diving suit, the Cinch Adjustable Harness will change the way you dive.
The Halcyon Cinch is specifically designed for Halcyon backplates and therefore does not fit all backplates.
The below Cinch components will be fully fitted to your backplate:
- Cinch adapter plate

- Separate left-hip D-ring assembly

- Bolts kit four stainless steel bolts with weld mate nuts
- Right-hip light retainer assembly
- Weight pocket attachment (pair) which allows the secure harness webbing to slide freely without affecting the placement of the light, ACB or D-ring.

The Halcyon backplate pocket is the most efficient means to store any of the various Halcyon inflatable markers with ease.
Stowing your favourite lift device in a Halcyon Storage Pak provides a hassle-free storage place without compromising the ability for rapid deployment of a SMB or lift bag.
Halcyon Backplate
As with most Halcyon products, an immense amount of behind-the-scenes work is required to create a plate we proudly sell.
Halcyon backplates have been refined to provide the highest-quality finish and materials available. Small details, like the unique bends near the bottom of the plate, create an ergonomic curve, increasing diver comfort. Meanwhile, the precise fabrication process ensures the quality you have come to expect from Halcyon.
Specially designed for mating with all Halcyon and conventional wings, the Halcyon backplate is available in 3mm Stainless Steel and Aluminium. The utility holes allow easy mating with the MC Storage Pak to stow an SMB or to fit a drysuit inflation system.

What backplate to use?
While not set in stone, aluminium backplates are generally preferred by travelling or wet suit divers as they are lighter than their stainless steel counterparts.
The popular backplate for drysuit diving is stainless steel, where the additional weight is a benefit (spreading out the weight needed to compensate for buoyancy while taking it off the diver’s waist).
Both backplates are based on the same Halcyon design and are compatible with the Halcyon Cinch Adjustable Harness. Most UK divers who use drysuits prefer the steel backplate.
