Halcyon Closed 3.3’ SMB
The Halcyon Closed 3.3’ SMB is a closed-circuit alert marker buoy, measuring 1 meter in length and designed for surface deployment. This orange SMB features a one-way valve connector for inflation via an inflator hose and includes an integrated pressure-relief valve, making it suitable for deployment from depth.
When deflated, the SMB fits easily into a pocket or Halcyon MC Storage Pak attached to your backplate. It provides maximum visibility and redundant flotation, enhancing diving safety and peace of mind.
Please Note: Due to its shorter length and width, the 3.3′ SMB is not recommended as a primary SMB for UK boat diving. For UK boat diving, Halcyon recommends the following primary SMB options:
