Description
SANTI FIND THE EAGLE is a long-range project which aims to discover the place where the wreck of the most famous Polish submarine, ORP Orzel with her sixty-three crew members rests, and to solve the mystery of why she sank. The project also aims to revive the memory of the brave ship crew’s heroic deeds, and to emphasize the role of the Polish Navy during World War II. It is also of great importance to cultivate the memory of ordinary seamen- members of the ship’s crew who in the service of their Homeland, performed unprecedented acts of heroism in the history of maritime wars.
