Tornado Ribs
In late 2022, Gas Technologies were requested by a Dive Club to supply a purpose built 8.5m all weather diesel Rib, that would be comfortable in the big swells of The North Atlantic, up to 30 miles out, and miserably mean on fuel.
Unfortunately, at that time we just could not find what we needed to suit our client and hence we started to search and search we did.
Eventually we found a Company who had the pedigree that we sought as well as a great “Can Do Attitude” with nothing being a problem.
This Company was Tornado Boats in Denmark, which is headed by Lars & Jens Hjorth.
The Rib had to have commercial built qualities at a recreational cost.
Over a period of 12 months we worked closely with Tornado on the build if our clients boat and when we carried out the sea trials, we were just blown away with build quality, ease of communication and a great “nothing is a problem” attitude.
We are now fortunate to be in a position to showcase The Tornado Product in the UK & Ireland.
